Beware the Analysis Paralysis Nay-sayer

Analysis Paralysis is a bad thing. Analysis Paralysis is when the person spends more time analyzing the problem and never being able to come up with a decision.

The opposite is just as bad: the person who spends no time evaluating a situation and just picks whatever seems best. More often that not, they wonder why they are failing.

Very often, they say, “Oh, I don’t suffer from Analysis Paralysis…”  and they wear it like a badge of honor. Unfortunately, they do not know how to analyze a problem and determine a solution.

The point of this posting is to identify the AP nay-sayer. That person that spouts they do not do Analysis Paralysis but still fails.  If you ever come across that type of person ask them how do they evaluate the situation. If they really cannot come up with anything concrete, then they probably have no idea…and could use an expert on analysis to show them how.
